Today (16 May 2018), The United States Senate votes on whether to overturn the FCC’s decision to cancel its net neutrality rules. [Edit: The Senate resolution in favor of Net Neutrality passed by a vote of 52-47 and now goes to the House of Representatives for resolution.]

A good introduction to Net Neutrality, and the U.S. FCC’s fight against it, can be had from comedian John Oliver, who has dedicated two of his “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver” segments and one “web supplement” update to the issue. He does a lively and interesting job of explaining.

WTDHPL, dedicated to freedom, is supporting the fightforthefuture.org “Battle for the Net” initiative, encouraging users in the U.S. to visit the Battle for the Net website and contact their lawmakers to keep net neutrality alive.
